Every decision, every conflict, every breakthrough begins with values.

We often measure performance, skills, or KPIs, but rarely do we measure the values that drive them. ValCoRE™ changes that.

Based on the Spiral of human values, ValCoRE™ helps leaders, teams, and individuals decode the invisible forces that shape behavior. When you can see the patterns, you can change the outcomes.

What is the ValCoRE™ Spiral?

The ValCoRE™ Spiral is a framework that explains how people and societies evolve through levels of values. Each level represents a worldview: a way of making sense of life, solving problems, and seeking meaning.

These levels are not about good or bad. They are not boxes to trap people in. Instead, they are perspectives we move through as life challenges us. Some we master, some we resist, and some are still emerging in us.

The ValCoRE™ Spiral Levels

  • Level 1: Survival — Instinct and safety. Meeting basic needs.

  • Level 2: Tribe — Belonging, tradition, and loyalty.

  • Level 3: Power — Strength, courage, and dominance.

  • Level 4: Order — Rules, morality, and structure.

  • Level 5: Achievement — Success, innovation, and progress.

  • Level 6: Humanitarian — Community, fairness, and equality.

  • Level 7: Systems — Integration, adaptability, and resilience.

  • Level 8: Global/Holistic — Interconnectedness, ecology, and planetary survival.

Each level has gifts and shadows. For example, Level 4 (Order) creates stability and fairness through systems and rules but it can also become rigid or intolerant. Level 5 (Achievement) fuels innovation and success but it can slide into greed or burnout.

Dominant, Emerging, and Resistant Values

One of the most powerful features of ValCoRE™ is its focus on three types of values within you:

  • Dominant Values: Where you live and lead right now.

  • Emerging Values: The next level you are growing toward.

  • Resistant Values: The levels you push back against and where hidden lessons often lie.

Understanding these three helps you see why you think the way you do, why certain people frustrate you, and why resistance shows up in teams or societies.

Why It Matters

  • For leaders: It explains why teams resist change and how to turn that resistance into momentum.

  • For organizations: It reveals cultural blind spots and helps align strategy with values.

  • For society: It makes sense of political shifts, movements, and the clash between order, progress, and humanity.

ValCoRE™ does not just describe values. It makes them actionable.
